Did you know that walnuts are linked to better cognitive function? (They even look like little brains! 🧠 )

California walnuts are nutrition superstars:

  • They are full of omega-3 fatty acids, specifically 2.5 grams of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) per ounce of walnuts. Omega-3’s are crucial for reducing inflammation and promoting heart and brain health.
  • Per ounce, California walnuts also contain 4 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber, making them a satiating source of plant-based protein.

This recipe is so simple and easily customizable — all you need are:

  • California walnuts
  • Goat cheese
  • Lemon juice
  • Honey
  • Salt
